• In-class assignment: Analyze Hamlet's 4th soliloquy (Act IV, scene 4). First, paraphrase the soliloquy in your text, then find phrases that 
• are similar to lines in previous soliloquies (quote both)
• are opposite to lines in previous soliloquies (quote both)
• could use clarification / explanation
• demonstrate an intriguing use of figurative language 
• motifs that are emerging in Hamlet's thoughts
• express extreme emotions
• Quote and comment on at least two of these observations on the Padlet I have created (2A) (4A), making sure you do not duplicate other posts. Read through the other posts and ♡ the ones you like best!

• Today we discussed the AP English Lit exam set up (see notes here) and spent an hour taking a full multiple choice section of the AP Lit exam. We briefly discussed the free response section of the AP exam as well. If you were absent, see me ASAP to take your m/c. This is for a grade and will be the basis of our review over the next few weeks. Our AP test is Wed., May 9.
